Three players with connections to Fiji have been named in the New Zealand 7s team to play at the Singapore 7s this weekend.
They include Jona Nareki, Joe Ravouvou and Akuila Rokolisoa.
The other players are Kurt Baker, Dylan Collier, Trael Joass, Andrew Knewstubb, Ngarohi McGarvey-Black, Sione Molia, Etene Nanai-Seturo, Tone Ng Shiu, Tim Mikkelson and Teddy Stanaway.
The Commonwealth 7s Gold medalists are pooled with Scotland, Australia and Wales.
Meanwhile the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team will take on Japan at 5.36pm this Saturday.
They will then play Russia at 9.02pm Saturday before playing their final pool match against Spain at 12.28am Sunday.
The Cup quarter finals will begin at 4.30pm Sunday, the semi finals will begin at 8.50pm Sunday while the Cup Final is at 12 am Monday.
Barring any upsets, they will meet Australia or Scotland in the quarter final, USA or Argentina in the semifinal, South Africa or New Zealand in the final.
