Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain, Paula Dranisinukula is all set for this weekend’s London 7s where he will lead the side, aiming to claim the lead in the series.

Dranisinukula had earlier told FijiVillage that the ultimate aim for London 7s is to make it to number 1.

He says that players have done the hard yards and while they will not under estimate any team, the players are ready for the challenge ahead.

He was among the 15 other captains from the participating teams competing at the London 7s that came together at the iconic Kensington Palace in central London for the Captains photo shoot.

Fiji will meet Kenya in their first pool match of the London 7s at 9.36pm Saturday, they will take on France at 12.42am Sunday and will play their last pool match against Samoa at 3.48am Sunday.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 9.58pm Sunday, Cup semifinals will start at 1.48am Monday and the Cup final will be played at 4.57am Monday.

Barring any upsets, the Fiji is likely to meet England or Scotland in the quarter final, they are likely to take on USA or Argentina in the semifinal, or New Zealand or South Africa in the final.

Meanwhile, USA is leading the points table with 145 points, Fiji is second with 143 points and New Zealand is in third place with 130 points.

The top four teams in this season’s will qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
