The Vodafone Fiji U19 Football team

The Vodafone Fiji U19 Football team is gearing up for the next uphill battle ahead of them in the OFC U19 Championship in Tahiti where the team will face Solomon Islands today.

Coach Bal Sanju Reddy said the boys know what is expected of them in the match against Solomon Islands.

Reddy says the entire team was saddened to of the learn tragic accident in Nabou and the young Bula Boys will be playing for them in the remaining games.

Reddy says they are expecting a tough encounter with both Fiji and Solomon entering the match with a win each.

National coach Christophe Gamel has joined the team in Tahiti.

Fiji play Solomon Islands at 1.00pm today.
