Terio Tamani has been spending time with Waisea Nacuqu and Jerry Tuwai learning from them in the past few weeks.
Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach Gareth Baber stated that Tamani has improved a lot from when he first ran onto the field in Singapore in the 2017-2018 HSBC World Rugby Sevens season.
Baber adds that they had a scrimmage session with Canada yesterday and Tamani performed well in the half back and playmaker position.
Fiji will take on Wales in their first match of the Hamilton 7s at 10.52am Saturday, they will then face Argentina at 2.42pm and will take on Australia at 6.52pm in their last pool game this Saturday.
The cup quarters will start at 10.36am this Sunday, the semifinals will kick off at 3.16pm and the final will start at 7.10pm this Sunday.
