Roosters and New South Wales Blues fullback James Tedesco has been crowned the 2018 Brad Fittler Medal Winner following an impressive State of Origin campaign in which he made more tackle breaks and post‑contact metres than any other player across the three‑game series.

Tedesco, who is enjoying a stellar season with the Sydney Roosters, made 25 tackle breaks and ran for 504 metres, including 145.3 post‑contact metres, after starting in all three games for NSW.

Tedesco and the Roosters alongside the Melbourne Storm have qualified for the NRL Preliminary Finals.

Meanwhile the Sharks will play the Panthers at 9.40pm Friday while the Dragons will play the Rabbitohs at 9.40pm Saturday.

The winner of the Sharks and Panthers match will play the Melbourne Storm while the winner of the Dragons and Rabbitohs game will play the Roosters.
