Teams from Fiji, NZ and Australia to compete in Grasshoppers International Netball Festival

13 teams from Fiji, 7 teams from Australia and 4 teams from New Zealand will be competing in the 2nd Annual Grasshoppers International Invitational Netball Festival for U13, U15 and U17 aged group netters.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Co-founder of Grasshoppers netball Club and Head Coach Alumeci Fachs says that the key activities apart from the games will be a Team’s Lipsync Challenge, Movies at Damodar City and Awards & Dinner.

She says that the Netball Festival will have guest speaker Queensland firebirds and current Australia Diamonds Goal Shooter Gretel Tipett who will be delivering a Motivational Talk about her rise to the top at such a young age and will also provide coaching/training.

Fachs says the Netball Festival is a pro-active way of keeping children engaged in activities while on their school break.

The Grasshoppers International Netball Festival will be held from 3pm today to Monday 12th December.
