Crusaders forward Jordan Taufua has been ruled out of tonight's Super Rugby clash against the Hurricanes after suffering a leg injury, during the All Blacks' training at the start of the week.
Pete Samu has been named to replace Taufua at No. 8 with Ethan Blackadder named on the bench.
Crusaders coach, Scott Robertson says Taufua’s calf tightened up at the All Blacks camp, and it is a shame for him because he was pretty pumped to play.
Other top players who will miss the game include, Sam Whitelock, Tim Perry, Manasa Mataele, Ryan Crotty, Owen Franks and Joe Moody.
Rain is forecasted for tonight in Christchurch when the Crusaders will play the Hurricanes at 7.35 tonight.
