A first-half hat‑trick to Tariq Sims was the catalyst for the Dragons' most inspired performance of the season from their elimination final match last night.

The NRL Finals Series kick starts this Friday where in the first semifinal the Cronulla Sharks to take on Penrith Panthers at 9.40pm while the South Sydney Rabbitohs takes on the Dragons in the second semi‑final at 9.40pm on Saturday night.
The first game of the Preliminary final will be played on the 21st of this month, with Melbourne Storm to take on the winner of semifinal 1 which is to be played between the Sharks and Panthers this weekend.
The Second Preliminary final will be played on the Saturday next week between the Sydney Roosters and the winner of semifinal 2.
The NRL Grand Final will be held on the 30th of this month.
