Taqaso breaks Nadi Zone Senior Boys 1,500 metres record

Ulaiasi Taqaso of Sabeto College has broken the Nadi Zone Senior Boys 1,500 metres record with a time of 4 minutes 55 seconds.

The previous record was set last year with a time of 5 minutes 17 seconds.

8 records have been broken on day one of the competition.

Meanwhile Ratu Navula College is leading the boys division of the Nadi Zone with 11 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze, Nadi Sangam College is in second place with 7 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze while Swami Vivekananda College is third with 4 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze.

Ratu Navula College is leading the girls division with 4 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze, Nadi Sangam College is in second place with 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze while Swami Vivekananda College is third with 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze.

Meanwhile Saint John’s College is leading the boys division in the Ovalau Zone with 21 gold, 21 silver and 24 bronze, Delana Methodist High School is second with 17 gold, 20 silver and 12 bronze while Levuka Public School is third with 12 gold, 9 silver and 14 bronze.

St John’s College also leads the girls division with 19 gold, 21 silver and 21 bronze.

Second is Levuka Public School is in second place with 16 gold, 12 silver and 16 bronze while Delana Methodist High School is third with 9 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze.
