Fiji Born winger, Seta Tamanivalu has been named to start for the Crusaders in their crucial match against the Hurricanes in Christchurch tomorrow night.
Manasa Mataele could not be considered because of a hamstring problem while concussions have forced Crusaders skipper Sam Whitelock and midfielder Ryan Crotty to miss the game.
George Bridge, who will start on the left wing, with Michael Ala'alatoa and Wyatt Crockett starting up front in the forwards.
Meanwhile, All Black Jordie Barrett will make his maiden first‑class appearance at centre with the Hurricanes in their Super Rugby blockbuster.
A standout at fullback all season, Barrett is handed the unfamiliar No.13 jumper, with Nehe Milner‑Skudder shifting to the back and Julian Savea recalled on the right wing.
Jonah Lowe goes on the bench and is poised to make his Super Rugby debut.
Elsewhere, captain Brad Shields returns on the blindside flank and Ngani Laumape is back at inside centre.
The defending champion Crusaders have won their last eight matches, a streak bettered by the 10 successive wins for the 2016 champion Hurricanes.
