Joseva Tabakaucoro will be one of the greatest assets of Marist Brothers High School in this year’s zone and Coca Cola Games as he took out the 100 metres, 200 metres and 400 metres finals in the Marist inter-house athletics meet.
He also broke the 100 and 200 metres inter-house records previously held by his brother, Banuve Tabakaucoro.
He won the 100 metres final with a manual time of 10.65 seconds while Banuve’s time was 10.71 seconds.
Joseva won the intermediate 400 metres race with a manual time of 54.26 seconds for his Augustine House.
Jason Ikikena of Lambert came second with a time of 56.46 seconds and David Nagulevu was third.
The senior boys 200 metres final was won by Paulo Biutaki of Alphonsus house with a time of 23.01 seconds and Alipate Makutu of Augustine finished in second place.
Meanwhile Augustine won the Marist inter-house with 5,079 points, Lambert finished in second place with 4,507 points, Alphonsus in third place with 4,459 points while Claudius came fourth with 4,160 points.
