Suva to meet Labasa, Ba to meet Nadi in BOG semifinals

Suva will face Labasa while Ba will take on Nadi in the semifinals of the Inkk Mobile BOG.

Ba lost to Lautoka 2-0 in their last Group B match this evening but the Men in Black had better goal difference compared to Lautoka.

Ba has qualified as Group B winner with six points while Labasa who also have six points has qualified as the group runner up.

Lautoka scored two goals through Dave Radrigai and Benjamin Totori in the second half but it was not enough as they had to score four clear goals to reach the semis.

Ba also played most of the second half with 10 men as Maveliko Nakama was red carded for a head butt on Pranil Naidu.

Lautoka applied tremendous pressure till the last few seconds of the game but could not score more goals as Ba goalkeeper, Josaia Ratu made some daring saves.

In other games today, Rewa beat Dreketi 3-2, Labasa thumped Tavua 5-0 and Suva beat Nadi 2-0.

The Suva-Labasa semifinal will kick off at 2pm while the second semi final between Ba and Nadi will start at 4pm on Saturday at Churchill Park.

The final will be played at 3pm on Sunday at Churchill Park.
