Suva through to the IDC semifinals

Suva is the second team to qualify for the Courts IDC semifinals after defeating Tavua 3-1 earlier today.

Suva’s goals were scored by Ravinesh Karan Singh while Sahil Dave scored twice in the 34th and 35th minute of the second half.

Sahil who is the leading goal scorer says he was confident to score again in this game.

Meanwhile Tavua goalkeeper Jovilisi Borisi who has been impressive with some of his big saves says he will stay with Tavua next season even if he is offered a contract from another district.

He dedicated his game to his father who could not make it to the IDC.

Meanwhile Ba was the first team to qualify for the semis.

Ba has finished at the top of group B after finishing in a 2-all draw against Dreketi and will play in the second semifinal on Saturday. 

Labasa are currently playing Rewa, the match is into the first half while hosts Lautoka will play Nadi in the last pool match at 8pm.

Rewa needs to draw against Labasa to book their spot in the semifinals while Labasa is in a must-win situation.

Lautoka also just needs a draw against Nadi.
