Suva defeats Naitasiri to win the FRU Skipper Provincial 10's tournament

The Suva Rugby 10's team is the champion of the FRU Skipper Provincial 10's tournament after defeating Naitasiri 12-0 in the final.

Peni Matawalu the younger brother of Fiji Airways Flying Fijians hardback Nikola Matawalu scored the lone try of the final while Player of the Final Jone Manu kicked the conversion.

Suva captain Samu Bola says they were fortunate to have some experienced players in the team including James Brown, John Stewart, Emosi Mulevoro and Samu Bola.

The FRU will be announcing the names of the Fiji 10's team soon to represent Fiji at the Brisbane Global 10's which will be held from the 9th to the 10th of next month.

Fiji is pooled with the Brumbies, Crusaders and the Hurricanes.
