The defending champion of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament is on course to defend its title after holding Rewa to a nil-all draw at Govind Park.
Ba and Rewa both have four points from two matches and need a draw in their final pool matches to qualify for the semifinals.
The Men in Black will take on Labasa who have been bundled out of the tournament after losing to Nadi 2-1.
The Delta Tigers will clash with Nadi who is in a must win situation to qualify for the semifinals.
Suva and Lautoka soccer team have both qualified for the semifinal to be played at the ANZ Stadium next Saturday.
Both teams managed to win the second pool matches today.
Lautoka edged Nadroga 1-0.
Lautoka was playing with ten players as Poasa Baivalu was shown the first red card of the tournament in the first half of the match for a foul on a Nadroga player.
In the other match today Suva beat Navua 1-0 with ravinesh Karan Singh scoring the lone goal of the match.
Suva coach Gurjeet Singh said it was a hard fought battle and Suva was lucky to win.
He added that some reserve players will be given a chance to play against Lautoka tomorrow and give rest to injured players.
Suva Soccer player, Pita Rabo said the team played really well in the first two important matches.
The final pool matches will see Navua take on Nadroga at 11am, Nadi clash with Rewa at 1pm, Lautoka face Suva at 3pm while Ba take on Labasa in the final match of the day at 5pm.
