Suva Blues have successfully defended their titles in all the grades of the Vodafone Fiji Kaji Rugby Competition as they defeated Cakaudrove 22-nil in the U14 final, they beat Nasinu 7-nil in the Under 12 final and in the U13 final Suva Blues defeated Cakaudrove 17-0.
Suva Blues U14 head coach, Camueli Francis says that they had been struggling in their pool games but as they progressed to the quarters and semifinals, the players had stepped up.
He adds that the game against Cakaudrove was a tough one and he is very happy they came out on top.
While speaking at the closing of the Kaji Rugby Tournament, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama acknowledged the players that participated in the tournament adding that this was a start for the players who would want to pursue Rugby as a career and that he has seen a lot of talent at the tournament.
