The Suva Blues Under 12 rugby team has qualified for the Tier 1 semifinals of the Vodafone Fiji Kaji Rugby Competition, along with Ovalau, Kadavu and Nasinu.
The Under 12 defending champion defeated Suva White 14-0 in their quarterfinal match today. They will take on Ovalau in the first semifinal while Nasinu will take on Kadavu in the second semis.
The Nasinu Under 12 earlier defeated Macuata 14-0 while Kadavu won 14-7 over Cakaudrove.
Meanwhile, in the Under 13 Tier 1 competition Suva Blues are on track to defend their title after defeating Ra 12-0 in their first game in the round robin stage.
Suva Blues than advanced to defeat Nasinu 12-5 in their second game and they will take on Lautoka in their last game at 9am tomorrow.
The quarter finalists for the Under 13 will be confirmed after the last round of matches tomorrow morning.
In the Under 14 Tier 1 competition, defending champion Suva Blues defeated Macuata 10-5 and they will play Nasinu in their second match tomorrow at 9.30am.
The Suva Blues Under 14 will play Ovalau at 11.10am tomorrow in their last game.
The Vodafone Kaji Rugby competition will continue tomorrow at ANZ Stadium.
