Labasa’s super-sub, Jonetani Buksh.

Labasa’s super-sub, Jonetani Buksh scored the lone goal of the match to beat Suva 1-0 in the final pool match of day one of the Inkk Mobile BOG at Subrail Park.

Both teams were locked at nil-all till the breather.

Buksh found the net in the 10th minute of the second half.

Despite the win, Coach Gurjit Singh was not happy with the performance.

The Capital side applied tremendous pressure after the goal but could not find the back of the net with strong defence and good goalkeeping by Akuila Mataisuva.

Meanwhile, the Suva soccer team has indefinitely suspended Waisake Navunigasau and Sakaraia Naisua because of indiscipline.

Suva Coaching staff Tuka Tisam of Cook Islands says it was tough taking a goal but they tried to come back with the chances they got.

Nadi and Lautoka lead their respective pools after their big wins on day one.
