Improved defence will be the key requirement for the Stormers ahead of their Super Rugby game against defending champion Crusaders in Cape Town this weekend.
The Stormers have had plenty of time to think about the game having had the bye over the weekend. They have been preparing for the game at their high‑performance centre and will be expecting to have flanker Pieter‑Steph du Toit back from injury for the game.
But Stormers assistant Coach Norman Laker said having seen the Crusaders beat the Bulls 45‑13 over the weekend it was clear they would have to lift their defensive effort.
The Crusaders will take on the Stormers at 3.15am Sunday.
In other Super Rugby matches this week, the Hurricanes meet the Jaguares at 7.35pm Friday and the Rebels meet the Bulls at 9.45pm Friday.
On Saturday, the Blues meet the Chiefs at 7.35pm while the Reds meet the Waratahs at 9.45pm.
On Sunday, the Lions face the Highlanders at 1.05am.
