All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has hinted he will make a decision about his future before enjoying his Christmas festivities.
59 year old Hansen has been involved with the All Blacks coaching set‑up since 2004, initially serving as an assistant to Sir Graham Henry before ascending to the position of head coach in 2012.
However, speculation has continued to suggest that the World Cup winner could walk away from the job after next year's tournament in Japan.
Speaking to media this morning, Hansen was asked about the future of Ireland's Kiwi boss Joe Schmidt, who has been heavily touted as the All Blacks' next coach.
Schmidt will announce his coaching future after Ireland's clash with the USA this week, with Hansen saying he has no idea what his compatriots next move will be.
The All Blacks will now face Italy at 3am this Sunday.
