The Fiji National Sports Commission has officially taken over the responsibility of paying for the salary cap of Vodafone Fiji soccer coach Christophe Gamel.
Commission’s Chairman Peter Mazey says the move would allow Fiji FA to concentrate on development work and its minor teams.
He says the Commission will now for the next three years assist the Fiji FA with salary cap and contract of Gamel which includes accommodation and vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Soccer Team will play New Zealand at 1pm this Saturday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
The two teams will then travel to Wellington and play in the second leg at 6.35pm next Tuesday at Westpac Stadium.
