Fiji born winger, Henry Speight has been sidelined for a month with a hamstring injury and will be replaced by Peter Betham in the Wallabies squad for the Rugby Championship.
Speight, who becomes eligible to represent Australia from September 11th, suffered the injury in the second half of the Brumbies' recent Super Rugby semi‑final clash against the Waratahs in Sydney.
Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie says it is disappointing for Henry but he has no doubt that Speight will go back and work hard during the rehab process to get his injury healed before he becomes eligible to play for Australia in mid‑September.
The Wallabies, minus the Waratahs players participating in the Super Rugby Final, will assemble this Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Waratahs will play the Crusaders at 9.30pm this Saturday in the Super Rugby final.
