Blitzboks skipper Philip Snyman says his team are hoping to raise their game to another level and win the South Africa 7s tournament this weekend.
The Blitzboks, current series champions and hot favourites on home soil, will go into this weekend’s second leg of the 2017/18 HSBC World Series high on confidence and form after winning in Dubai last weekend.
Snyman says Fiji and England will both want to prove their worth after their disappointing semifinal losses in Dubai.
With the tournament sold out for months already, the Blitzboks can expect massive support from the 110,000 crowd over the two days.
They are drawn in Pool A alongside Kenya, Russia and France.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play Wales at 9.37pm Saturday, they will then meet Canada at 12.58am Sunday before taking on Samoa at 4.19am Sunday.
The quarterfinals will start at 11.04pm Sunday, semifinals at 3.34am next Monday while the final will be held at 6.44am next Monday.
Looking at the HSBC World Rugby 7s Series points table, South Africa is leading with 22 points, New Zealand is in second place with 19 points, England is in third place with 17 points while Fiji is in fourth place with 15 points.
