Sopoaga a possible flyhalf choice for All Blacks

Highlanders fly‑half Lima Sopoaga has emerged as a possible replacement for injured Chiefs player Aaron Cruden in the All Blacks squad.

Cruden has been ruled out for six months with an ACL injury while Beauden Barrett, Colin Slade and Dan Carter are the favorites to be named in New Zealand's squad for the World Cup in England.

All Blacks selector Grant Fox revealed that the door is not shut for other players if they perform well in Super Rugby.

This includes the ever-improving Lima Sopoaga who has the best kicking percentage of any NZ playmaker at 77.8 percent.

Sopoaga will play for the Highlanders this Friday against the Brumbies at 9.40pm.
