Pio Sokobalavu has joined the Vodafone Fiji Bati camp today after being given the green light that he can replace the injured Kane Evans at the Rugby League World Cup.
Sokobalavu was part of the Wests Tigers second grade team in the NSW Cup competition in Australia.
Meanwhile Pio Seci has been discharged from hospital. Seci was admitted with a swollen and infected sheen from training.
The Bati will take on Wales at 9.30pm Sunday.
The Australian Kangaroos will face France at 9 tonight, New Zealand will face Scotland at 4pm tomorrow, Samoa will play Tonga at 6.30pm tomorrow while England play Lebanon at 9pm tomorrow.
