Reds veteran James Slipper is happy they are not pooled with Fiji in the Brisbane Global Tens tournament next year.
Fiji has replaced Western Force in the competition and has been placed in Pool C along with the Brumbies, Crusaders and the Hurricanes in a group of death.
Defending champions, the Chiefs, Waratahs, Highlanders and a new outfit who compete in the French 14 competition, Pau see themselves in the thick of the action in pool B.
Japan’s Panasonic Wild Knights are again taking part, looking to put the Rebels, Reds and Blues to the sword in pool A.
The Brisbane Global Rugby Tens will be held at Suncorp Stadium on February 9th and 10th next year.
