Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy is certain Queensland fullback Billy Slater will have no problem recovering from his hamstring injury to play in Origin I.
Slater suffered tightness on Tuesday and was not risked in the Storm's 7‑6 victory over the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville on Friday night.
Bellamy insists Slater could have played if needed and has no doubts that he will line up for the Maroons at the Melbourne Cricket Ground next Wednesday 6th of June.
The State of Origin Game One will be held next Wednesday, Game will be on the 24th of next month Game Three will be held on the 11th of July.
In the NRL games tonight, the Knights will be Sharks at 4pm while the Wests Tigers will take on the Bulldogs at 6.10pm.
