All Blacks coach Ian Foster has ended fears first‑five Colin Slade will miss the Rugby World Cup due to an injury at training today.
Slade appeared to hurt his knee and needed strapping to it after being carried off the field during the session at Wellington's Hutt Recreation Ground.
Foster says Slade only suffered a minor ankle injury and is expected to carry on with the team’s preparations.
The All Blacks face Argentina in their first match of the Rugby World Cup on the 21st of this month at 3.45am.
