People who do not have access to the free to air TV stations due to transmission issues can watch live Olympics coverage on Pay TV station, Sky Pacific through their satellite delivery.
People in different parts of the country had raised concern that they could not get TV reception and could only watch through satellite TV coverage.
Sky Pacific has today confirmed that it will broadcast the Rio Olympic Games with a minimum of 200 hours of live action on the TVWAN Life Channel.
Digicel Fiji CEO Darren McLean says Sky Pacific has been the main broadcaster for the Olympic Games for a number of years in Fiji and the Pacific and the tradition continues this year from Rio.
McLean says they will be bringing viewers hundreds of hours of sports action on Sky Pacific including Rugby Sevens, Athletics, Swimming and Boxing.
He says the Olympics is a major global sporting event that shouldn’t be missed and they are delighted that Sky Pacific will bring access to their customers for the 17 days of the competition.
