The Fiji Rugby Union has announced the inaugural Skipper Provincial Rugby 10's tournament will be held this Saturday at Bidesi Park.
FRU CEO John O’Connor announced that the top eight teams in the country will participate in the tournament before a team is selected to represent Fiji to the Brisbane Global Tens which will be held on the 9th to the 10th of next month.
The participating unions will include Nadroga, Nadi, Suva, Rewa, Namosi, Navosa, Naitasiri and Malolo.
O’Connor says that this is another chance to give some game time to the Fiji Airways Drua and the Fiji Warriors players before they kick off their preparation for their respective 2018 season.
Each team will comprise a squad of 30 players who all must be utilised throughout interchanges across the tournament.
The Skipper Provincial Rugby 10's tournament will be held this Saturday at the Bidesi Park.
