Silver Ferns center Laura Langman will captain the team.

Netball fans in the country will now be able to witness some of the stars of the game taking on our Fiji Pearls.

This comes after the Silver Ferns named a star studded line-up to take part in the Oceania Netball Tri Series which kicks off next Monday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

Midcourters Millie Lees and Shannon Francois and shooter Ellen Halpenny, who were all dropped from the team last year, will make their return for the Ferns while the other big addition to the 12-strong squad is that of shooter Maria Tutaia who hasn’t played since suffering a foot injury at August’s Commonwealth Games.

Key players who have missed out due to injuries include Joline Henry, Cathrine Latu and captain Casey Kopua.

Other star players who will feature for the Ferns include Laura Langman who will also captain the side, Katrina Grant and Kayla Cullen.

Meanwhile, Fiji Water will provide over $4,000 worth of drinking water for the three teams participating at the Oceania Netball Tri-Series.

The Silver Ferns will take on the Fiji Pearls in the opening match of the Oceania Netball Tri-Series at 6.40pm next Monday at the Vodafone Arena.

Silver Ferns squad: Laura Langman (c), Katrina Grant (vc), Jodi Brown, Maria Tutaia, Ellen Halpenny, Bailey Mes, Shannon Francois, Camilla Lees, Grace Rasmussen, Leana de Bruin, Phoenix Karaka, Kayla Cullen.
