Silver Ferns coach says the fittest players were selected

Silver Ferns Coach Waimarama Taumaunu said she has put together the fittest team of players for the Oceania Netball Tri Series.

Taumaunu said her players will not let their match against the Fiji Pearls pass by easily as most of them want to be up for World Cup selection.

The Silver Ferns and the Fiji Pearls last met in the 2011 World Netball Championship where Fiji lost 80-25.

The Oceania Netball Tri Series will start at 6.40 tonight with the Fiji Pearls taking on the Silver Ferns in the opening match at the Vodafone Arena.
