Sharks extend winning streak after defeating Bulldogs 22-16

Cronulla Sharks have extended their NRL winning streak to five matches with a gutsy yet scrappy 22‑16 defeat of Canterbury, leaping into fifth spot.

After a slow start and a difficult month marred by injuries, Shane Flanagan's men now have a 7‑4 win‑loss record and warming into the season.

Cronulla captain Paul Gallen, Josh Dugan and Jayson Bukuya made successful returns to help Cronulla’s win last night.

After round 11, the Dragons are leading the NRL points tables with 18 points, the Panthers are in second place with 16 points while the Warriors are in third place with 16 points.

On Thursday the  Broncos will take on the Eels at 9.50pm.

On Friday, the Raiders will play that Sea Eagles at 8pm, while the Cowboys will face the Storms 9.55pm.

On Saturday, the Roosters will play the Titans at 5pm, the Warriors will play the Rabbitohs at 7.30pm while the Panthers will take on the Dragons at 9.45pm.

On Sunday, the Knights will face the Sharks at 4pm while the Wests Tigers will play the Bulldogs at 6.10pm.
