Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber has confirmed that Sevuloni Mocenacagi is recovering well ahead of the London and Paris 7s next month.
Mocenacagi suffered an injury at the Singapore 7s and missed out at the rest of the finals.
The national side is currently leading the World Sevens Series points table with 145 points, South Africa is in second place with 141 points, New Zealand is in third place with 120 points while Australia is in fourth place with 108 points.
Baber believes that the last two tournaments will bring out the quality of the national side as they aim to win the series title.
The national 7s squad will be leaving our shores today for London and will spend four days in an outside hotel before going into the tournament accommodation next Monday.
Baber believes this will allow them to recover and acclimatize with the weather.
He adds that 14 players will be named for the London and Paris 7s squad later this week.
The London 7s will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of next month.
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, Argentina and Scotland in Pool A.
