The Queensland Reds have added firepower to their back‑line ahead of the upcoming Super Rugby season after signing Fiji born Wallabies winger Sefa Naivalu.
The Fijian flyer, who boasts 10 Wallabies caps and 46 games of Super Rugby experience, will be at the Reds through 2019 after he was released by the Melbourne Rebels.
Naivalu says that he looks forward to the opportunity at the Reds and moving to Brisbane knowing there is a strong Fijian community present.
Reds head Coach Brad Thorn says that he is looking forward to working with Naivalu who he knows will bring maturity and experience at the highest level.
Super rugby's organising body Sanzaar have confirmed that the 2019 Super rugby season will start on Friday 15 February.
