WBF Asia Pacific super lightweight champion Sebastian Singh, “the Sniper” and New Zealand's No 1‑ranked welterweight boxer Bowyn Morgan

WBF Asia Pacific super lightweight champion Sebastian Singh, “the Sniper” will feature in one of the main undercards of the Joseph Parker versus Alexander Flores heavyweight showdown in Christchurch.

Fiji’s Singh will face New Zealand's No 1‑ranked welterweight boxer Bowyn Morgan in the welterweight contest.

Morgan who is the new Pro‑Box Pacific super welterweight champion recorded an impressive eighth round knockout of Mexican Andres Rodriguez in Christchurch in May this year and is all set to feature in a likely world title clash soon.

Morgan has a record of 18 wins of which 8 have come through knockouts. He has only lost once.

This is a massive opportunity for Sebastian Singh to make his mark in the welterweight category and has all the reasons to put up a good fight as the boxing world will be glued to TV screens with a big heavyweight clash to follow featuring Joseph Parker.

Singh has a record of eleven wins of which 7 have come through knockouts, 2 losses and a draw.

The boxing program starts at 6pm tomorrow in Christchurch.
