Manly Sea Eagles captain Daly Cherry‑Evans insists the NRL's investigation into salary cap cheating at the club will not derail their premiership ambitions this year.
The governing body's integrity unit yesterday began looking into the Sea Eagles books following explosive allegations of illegal top‑up payments to players.
However Cherry‑Evans denied the speculation would distract the team, who currently sit in the top four with just seven games to go before the finals series.
The Sea Eagles will play the Dragons at 4pm Sunday.
