Saunaka wraps up its final pool match with a win over Hong Kong

McDonalds Saunaka has wrapped up its final pool match with a 19-12 win over Hong Kong in the Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s.

They made a great comeback after they lost to Ratu Filise 12-5.

Mana Whey Fiji Coral Coast 7s defending champion First Light Taveuni again struggled in their second and third matches this afternoon having a hard-fought 12-7 win over Police and a come from behind win over Stars USA 19-10.

Looking at the results of the third round of pool matches: Lomavata Blues and Shipping Services Suva Stallions drew 19-all, Ravuka Sharks defeated Outrigger 26‑5, Ratu Filise defeated Tovolea 24-0, Wardens beat BLK Iron Courage 33-0, Police thrashed Sigatoka River Safari Henibua 38-0 while First Light Taveuni beat Shangri-La's Daveta 19-17 in the final pool match.

Meanwhile in the Women’s final Striders defeated Hong Kong 19-12.
