Saracens signs Samuela Vunisa

Saracens has announced the signing of Italy back-row forward Samuela Vunisa for the next season of the Aviva Premiership.

Vunisa, who can play as flanker or number eight, will join the Premiership club from Italian Pro 12 team Zebre.

The 26-year-old has played three times for Italy.

Vunisa who is originally from Vunitogoloa, Rakiraki, said he has heard a lot of good things about Saracens, about how they treat their players and how strong a side they are.

He has also played for the Fiji under 20 and under 19 teams.

Vunisa, who has appeared as a replacement in this year’s Six Nations against both England and Scotland, will join up with Saracens in July.
