Sami to guide Labasa in the Vodafone Fiji FACT

Former National and Labasa soccer rep, Anand Sami will guide Labasa in the Vodafone Fiji FACT this weekend.

The legend of Fiji Football has taken the charge of the Babasiga Lions in their bid to win their fifth Fiji FACT title.

He coached Labasa to their first Courts IDC win in 1992 at Ratu Cakobau Park where they beat Nadroga 2‑0 in the final.

Sami showed his worth last year when he took up the challenge to coach newcomers Tavua in the Courts IDC. Tavua won the hearts of many fans with their performance holding Lautoka and Nadi in the pool matches before losing to Suva.

Sami says they are working hard to give a top performance.

The Vodafone Fiji FACT kicks off tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park

and Labasa will play Dreketi at 4pm.
