Vodafone Fiji Sevens coach Ben Ryan is working with the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s organizers in ensuring that player discipline is monitored closely in the two day tournament.

During the announcement of the first eight pool games today, Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram said this is to ensure players are aware of their discipline which usually cost our national 7s side the game.

Looking at the different pools, defending champion Wardens Gold is the core team in Pool One alongside Fire, Vunavutu Blues and 343 Vatuwaqa.

Pool two consist of Wardens Green, Vonoyauyau, Bulia Covenant Kokomo and Uluinakau Green.

Ratu Filise 1 is pooled alongside Big Bula Water Park Kuata Exiles, Uprising and Eagles Cane Tacirua in Pool 3.

Hideaway Hurricanes will go up against Trinity Newtown, Natakala and Navatuvula in Pool 4.

Pool 5 sees CK Easybuy Tabadamu Blue, First Light from Taveuni, Wailoku Evergreen and Delasui.

Nabua will battle with Samoa based Vailima Marist, Flying Fish Rugby and UBB Natabua in Pool 6.

Pio Tuwai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Samu Saqiwa and the Tokatoka Westfield Babas are in Pool 7 with Gumatua, Nakoro-lailai in Deuba and CK Esybuy Tabadamu 2 while Redrock and Marist 2 are the core teams in Pool 8 alongside Sorokoba and Island Breeze Nadera.

Meanwhile Vodafone Fiji has provided 90 Gilbert match balls, free wifi for the second day of the tournament and 22 mobile phones for the organisers.

The draws and the second group of eight pools will be announced tomorrow.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
