Ryan says fitness to be a defining factor for next leg

“Fitness will be the defining factor”

These are the words of Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan as the players assembles today to prepare for the next leg of the IRB World 7s Series in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.

In an interview with Fijivillage Ryan said he is now faced with a dilemma to select his play-makers as he currently have Jerry Tuwai, Vatemo Ravouvou, Eminoni Nasilasila and Emosi Mulevoro.

Tuwai and Ravouvou who were called in as last minute replacement really impressed Ryan during the Gold Coast 7s while Nasilasila and Mulevoro are expected to make a comeback for the next leg.

Ryan said players should prove themselves.

Ryan added players should forget the victory in Gold Coast as playing in Dubai is totally a new story.

Fiji has been pooled with Argentina, France and Brazil at the upcoming Dubai 7s which is scheduled for December 5th and 6th.
