Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan is hoping that hard hitting forward Apisai Domolailai will recover in time for their first match of the Dubai 7s tournament which kicks off tomorrow.
Speaking from the team camp in Abhu Dhabi to Fijivillage last night, Ryan confirms that Domolailai was rested from training yesterday as he is suffering from a fever while all of the players are injury free and are raring to take on the field.
Despite the setback, Ryan is happy with the way the side has been preparing as match day approaches.
Ryan said he is not in a state to reveal on which players will feature in the first line up for their first match but they do have an advantage over their opposition.
The Dubai 7s kicks off this Friday with the Vodafone Fiji 7s team taking on France in their first pool match at 6.44pm.
They will later meet Brazil at 9.44pm.
Their last pool match is against Argentina at 1.52am Saturday.
The Cup quarter finals start at 8pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are at 1.55am Sunday while the Cup final kicks off at 3.42am.
