Vodafone Fiji 7's coach Ben Ryan has today revealed to Fijivillage that he has held discussions with Nemani Nadolo, Lepani Botia and Leone Nakarawa on their participation in the World Sevens Series and Olympics next year.
Ryan confirmed that he also had discussions with some other players who are part of the Vodafone Flying Fijians.
He said he has not promised anything to anyone he met with as he will continue to pick his team based on form.
Ryan said the local players are expected to provide tough competition to overseas based players for an Olympic spot.
Ryan has been having training sessions with the men’s and women’s national sevens teams as they prepare for the first leg in Dubai.
The Dubai 7s will be held on the 5th and 6th of December.
There will be ten tournaments before the Rio Olympics in August next year.
