With Waisea Nacuqu and Vatemo Ravouvou missing out from the main national sevens side, coach Ben Ryan has urged them to lift their game in the Oceania 7's.
Ryan said this is the best chance for them to prove their worth if they still want to be part of the main national sevens side.
Meanwhile when questioned on who will take up the play maker’s role, Ryan said he is satisfied with the skills that has been showed by Emosi Mulevoro, Eminoni Nasilasila and Apisalome Waqatabu.
Fiji is in Pool B with Cook Islands, Solomon Islands and Tahiti in the Oceania 7's which will start next Wednesday and ends on Friday.
The Gold Coast 7's will be held on the 11th and 12th of next month where Fiji is pooled with Australia, Scotland and Portugal.
