Melbourne Storm wing Suliasi Vunivalu scored one of the best tries of the season last night but it was not enough as the Roosters defeated Storm 25-24 in Adelaide.

Vunivalu made the biggest dive of the season and put the ball down with his whole body over the sideline.

It took referee over two minutes to decide if it was a try or not.

The Sydney Roosters roared back from a 20‑6 deficit with 25 minutes to play to steal a heart‑stopping 25‑24 extra‑time win over the top‑of‑the‑table Melbourne Storm.

Sydney Roosters 25 (Tries: Blake Fergsuon, Mitchell Aubusson, Latrell Mitchell, Daniel Tupou; Michael Gordon 4 goals; Mitchell Pearce field goal) beat Melbourne Storm 24 (Tries: Josh Addo‑Carr 2, Brodie Croft, Suliasi Vunivalu, Jahrome Hughes; Cameron Munster 2 goals).

In other results, the Cowboys beat the Panthers 14-12 and the Broncos defeated the Raiders 30-20.

The Dragons will play the Knights at 4 this afternoon while the Sharks will take on the Sea Eagles at 6pm.
