Cristiano Ronaldo's injury‑time penalty put holders Real Madrid through to the UEFA Champions League semi‑final after holding off a stunning Juventus comeback.

Juventus won the match 3-1.

Madrid has qualified after securing a 4-3 aggregate.

Real, Champions League winners in three of the past four seasons, came into the second leg leading 3‑0, helped by Ronaldo's stunning bicycle kick.

But the Series A leaders, Juventus got off to a perfect start and led 2-nil at half-time.

Juventus scored another goal in the second half to level the tie on aggregate before the dramatic ending.

Real Madrid joins Liverpool, Roma and Bayern Munich in the last‑four draw, which takes place on Saturday.

In another quarter-final this morning, Bayern Munich and Sevilla drew nil-all and Bayern has qualified on 2-1 aggregate.
