Semesa Rokoduguni and Nathan Hughes scored a try each as England got their end‑of‑year international rugby campaign off to a winning start beating Argentina 21‑8 at Twickenham this morning.
Nathan Hughes and Semesa Rokoduguni's tries saw England register the victory in a scrappy display.
The tries came either side of the break with George Ford kicking 11 points, while Nicolas Sanchez crossed for Argentina late on in the contest.
England broke from nowhere in the 65th minute and crossed through Rokoduguni, who collected Henry Slade's flat pass and dived over on the right wing.
In other matches, Australia beat Wales 29-21, Scotland withstood a second‑half Samoa fightback to win 44-38 at Murrayfield and Ireland were in fine form as they claimed a deserved 38-3 win over South Africa in Dublin.
