Rewa soccer player Tevita Waranivalu says that absence of some key players from the team will not take their motive away for this weekend’s semifinal clash against Lautoka in the 2016 Inkk Mobile BOG.
20-year-old Waranivalu says that there are other good players in the team who can step up.
Waranivalu who hails from Vugalei village in Tailevu, says he has learnt a lot through his tour to the Rio Olympic.
He is an ex-scholar of Nasinu Muslim College and Saraswati College.
Meanwhile, Rewa Soccer Coach Marika Rodu has told his players to take off the pressure of being the defending champions and focus on the upcoming semifinal for this weekend.
Rodu says the team has to keep up on where they had left last weekend.
The semifinals will be played at Ratu Cakobau Park where Labasa will take on Suva in the first semifinal at 2pm while defending champions Rewa will face Lautoka at 4pm in the second semifinal this Saturday.
The final will be played at 3pm Sunday and you can catch the live commentaries of the semifinals and final on Radio Sargam on 103.4 FM.
