Rewa meets Lautoka in BOG final

Rewa will play Lautoka in the final of the 2014 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants at 3pm today at the ANZ Stadium.

In the semifinals, Lautoka defeated Ba 5-4 in a penalty shootout.

Both teams were locked 1-1 after the fulltime whistle and in the extra time both teams were unable to score and in the penalty shootout, Lautoka looked the better side.

In the first semifinal, Rewa defeated Suva 2-1.

Both sides were locked 1-1 at the fulltime mark and in the second spell of extra time, Rewa scored through Epeli Saukuru and qualified for the final.

It will be a repeat of the 1985 Battle of the Giants final which was played at the ANZ Stadium and in that final Lautoka had beaten Rewa 3-0. 

Suva will take on Ba in the 3rd and 4th place playoff at 1pm
